The Japan Disaster — donate!

I found a few of the organisations accepting donations for the Sendai earthquake and tsunami (東北地方太平洋沖地震) who are also offering to match those donations (i.e. they’ll double your money), via a list on cause-action.jp, which I got from TimeOut Tokyo’s excellent “Japan earthquake: How you can help” article.

Is there anywhere else I should add? Ping me on Twitter (@boblet).

In addition, Jean Snow has a list of people selling cool stuff, with proceeds going to aid the disaster (generally via Japan Red Cross). Please visit this after donating the first time ;)

You can also donate directly to the Japanese Red Cross, the Japan Society, and Architecture for Humanity, all of which will help the disaster response and recovery immensely. You can also try donationdoubler.org’s Japan Earthquake & Tsunami Relief list, but ideally donate to organisations in Japan or with a Japanese branch.

Thank you <3
